Hort Innovation set to invest in the future of protected cropping

Protected Cropping Australia and Hort Innovation partnered in March 2023 to host the Future of Protected Cropping Research Summit. A diverse group of stakeholders explored opportunities to invest in a research program to support the Australian Protected Cropping Strategy 2021-2030. The themes developed were: • Sustainability, environmental, social and governance • Advanced agronomy • Identification, evaluation and adoption of technology. Further consultation will occur at this conference before Hort Innovation begins the investment process.
