Avelyn was instrumental in creating the positive, caring and supportive culture of the Centre for Population Health in her decade of service with the team. She was recognised for her sending of daily inspirational quotes, coordination of celebrations for significant events and always thinking of others. Through her dedication to the team and the work we do, she helped create a culture of kindness and gratitude in our workplace. Avelyn’s legacy will always be remembered at the Centre for Population Health. Awarded to Belinda Duckworth in recognition of her ongoing, selfless and meaningful acts of kindness to our Health Promotion staff, and the positive impacts this provides to team culture, staff morale, collaborative work approaches and overall wellbeing.
