Drug Health Partnerships with Mental Health Services-Quality Referral Project Over the past 12 months, Drug Health Services has collaborated with Mental Health clinicians to develop an algorithm-based referrals system to streamline the continuity of care for Drug Health Services patients who are referred to Mental Health Services. This has improved patient outcomes through timely access to care and reducing delays to see a mental health clinician. This care partnership has improved the consistency and quality of appropriate referrals to ensure patients receive appropriate care within a single admission and do not have to start their care journey again to access both drug and mental health services. Onboarding of Consumer Representatives Drug Health Services have developed a Consumer Representative Group to review and provide a consumer lens on all aspects of care provision, policy and procedure implementation, consumer engagement activities and education. Consumers from this group also speak to new staff during their onboarding process and advise them of “what matters to me”, ensuring all staff decisions have consumers at their forefront.
