PERIMETER FENCE UPGRADE AT RANDWICK ARMY BARRACKS

Scope of Works The scope of works of this project involved the design and replacement of the north and western boundaries of the perimeter fence. The section of fence that was replaced was 1.4 km in length and included the following: • Demolition of existing chain fence • Demolition of existing brick plinth • Pruning of trees and branches • Minor excavation, backfilling and compaction utilising DGB20 • Non-destructive digging potholing of posts • New 2,400mm high fencing with 450mm three strand barbed wire on top • Single manual pedestrian gates • Single automatic pedestrian gates • Double manual vehicle gates • New manually operated swing gate at main entrance
