Budd started his career in the Department of Defence industry working as a development project manager for Brookfield Multiplex. Zone Consultancy and Projects was founded by Budd Frome in Sydney, Australia.

Zone undertook consultancy services for the Department of Defence.

Tim Georges joined Zone and as a Construction Manager and Part Owner of the business to enhance New Business .Opportunities. Zone Commences work on first Department of Defence construction Project in Canberra ACT. Zone awarded its largest project to Date undertaking the Refurbishment of the Heritage Listed Building at Richmond RAAF Base. Contract sum in excess of $4 Million.
