CATS MEOW - REFURBISHMENT OF HERITAGE BAR & RESTAURANT AT 52 OXFORD ST, DARLINGHURST Scope of Works Zone was engaged to undertake a refurbishment of an existing bar to transform into a lavish 1920s-inspired Champagne bar. The designer created a shadowy interior that captures the mysterious mood that underpinned the nightclubs of the 1920s era. The scope of works included: • Demolition of existing bar, kitchen and bathrooms • Refurbishment of all existing services including mechanical, hydraulic and electrical • Make good of all existing heritage walls and ceilings • Relocation of bar, bathrooms and kitchens • Roughing in of all services to suit new layout • Installation of cantilevered mezzanine with bathroom • Custom made joinery (In-house), stone, stainless steel, furniture and upholstery works • Fit off of all services including in house custom made chandelier • Repairs and Painting to walls utilising STUCO painting and wallpaper • Supply and installation of all wall and floor tiling including mosaic and feature tiles • Chevron pattern flooring including brass inserts
