Innovations • The design called for a solid wall to extend to the underside of the slab which had a floor to ceiling height of 5.4m. • Upon investigating above the existing ceiling it was evident there were a large amount of existing services running along the underside of the slab above which resulted in this being unable to occur. • Zone provided an alternative solution to create an L-shaped wall above the grid height, to manoeuvre around the services and extend to the slab, which was approved by the Defence Security Consultant. Result • Zone successfully delivered the new office space in accordance with the scope & the design prepared by local architects, Capezio Copeland.
